Why we Don't Use Autogenous Bone in our Daily Practice?

Autogenous bone, considered the gold standard in directed tissue regeneration, is almost never used in practice. The graft materials used as substitutes do not approach the level of autogenous bone biologically and create a serious cost. In this presentation, all indications from the use of the simplest serum-free drill to vertical augmentation, from tunnel technique to sinus lifting with the Khoury philosophy will be discussed in detail through case examples in order to ensure the reuse of autogenous bone, the undisputed gold standard, in practice.
